My name is Xinghua Cheng, and my English name is Patrick. My current research interests include vegetation phenology, biogeochemistry,and biodiversity. I am a full-time Research Associate at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu, China where I am writing a book called "Cartography Communication Theory" with my supervisor, Dr. Zhilin Li. My research focus was information theory in remote sensing image processing. Previously, I worked as research asscoiate in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2020 to 2022.
